Her gaze snaps to her friend, who honestly is looking nearly as haggard as her apartment. Wait -- this is Amelia's apartment?! "You live here now? And not the inn?"
Surprise gives way to a warm smile. No matter the mess, or the struggle it took her to get here, that is progress, as far as Adia is concerned. She'd give the rogue a hug if she thought the other woman would want one. It's not at all what she expected -- not after the break-up with Harley, nor the ominous text about setting things on fire (although that would explain the pans in the trashcan and the lingering smell of burnt food).
"This is a very nice apartment," she says, her smile turning a touch self-aware as she takes another quick look around. "But, um... maybe you could use some help settling in. Would you like me to do the dishes? Get a load of laundry started for you?"
