This is a lot more stuff than Amelia was ready for, but she dutifully takes notes as Adia lists off all of the things they'll need to pick up when they go out for supplies. "I've never heard of a vacuum or a duster," she says as she writes out the last of the items. "They seem like useful tools, though, from how you've described them. Will you show me how to use them, too?" She looks hopeful as she asks because, well, she has no idea how they work.
As she waits for an answer, her gaze shifts back to the notebook in her hands so she can write down a few more essentials she needs to buy. "Do you mind if I pick up some new pans while we're out? I need to replace the pans I threw away just now." Not that she thinks she'll do any better the next time she tries to cook, but she has to at least try again if she hopes to have a hot meal in her apartment. Her lips draw into a thin line as she jots down a few more items. "I can always get those later if you would rather not go with me. I don't want to keep you from your own duties back home for too long."
