It would probably shock her. She usually took the opposite approach, not bothering to be very kind to people who annoyed her if she didn't have to deal with them again. It didn't always work out in her favor, but such is life.

She bow is unusual for her, but she's trying to adapt to the different kinds of manners people have in the Nexus. It's strange but won't be remarked on--while they're in the shop. She might ask Amelia about it later.

"Uh... I do need a dress," she admits, "but it might not be very much fun for you since I'm in mourning." And judging by her outfit, she's not a fan of elaborate clothing. "Plain black probably isn't the most thrilling thing for you." She might not understand what's going on, but she knows not to bore an artist.
