She chuckles softly. "I don't think a lot of us are used to having as many friends as we've found here in the Nexus. It's a nice change of pace, though, isn't it?"

Her face softens, but her curiosity remains. After taking a sip of her tea, she sets her cup aside and turns toward him a bit more. "If it makes you uncomfortable, you don't have to explain it, but I'm curious to know how you see it." Learning things through the eyes of someone who's got such a unique view of the world is always enlightening, but she's not going to push if he gets uncomfortable. The last thing she wants is to push him away now that they've started speaking again.
