It's really hard for her to stifle a laugh when taking in his eagerness. She ends up hiding behind her tea cup until he's regained his composure so as not to make him feel like she's laughing at him like it could be any other way at this point. She nods along and waits a moment after he finishes his explanation before asking, "What kind of symbolism do you mean? I'm afraid I don't know enough about Christian beliefs to fully understand."

And then, as an afterthought, "If dreams are the culmination of everything we are as people, then what do my dreams say about me?" This is a much more personal question, but she isn't intimidated by that. After inviting him in so closely, discussing what he saw in her dreams doesn't feel like something that's any more intimate or private. Besides, they're friends - if they can't talk about something they shared, what can they talk about?
