Though she's clearly frustrated and it leaves some tension between them, Viatorus is happy to latch onto the small escape he's offered. It's much easier for him to dive into studying than to sort out his feelings and form them into coherent sentences.

It takes him a moment to spot her pause, however, but when he does, he hesitates. Aware that she's probably still annoyed at him, he's quiet when he suggests, "You should get some tea and go for a walk. It helps."
