"Anything interesting?" After finishing what she can of the plum, she sets the core aside and focuses on her tea. It's much easier to focus on drinking and eating than it is on figuring him out. He doesn't seem terribly complicated, but there's definitely a few things about him that she can't figure out. His hesitation to tell her anything, for one.
