In any other moment, she'd fight him carrying her like this - she's a grown woman, she has two working legs, and she can crawl if she has to - but right now she knows she's too weak for this. Without his support, she wouldn't be here, literally couldn't be. She'd tumble to the floor and simply remain there until... she doesn't know how long. Hours, days maybe. Longer than she should.
She stays upright long enough to drink the water, then carelessly sets aside the glass to tuck herself beneath his chin and against his chest. Laying down is easier, and it keeps her from having to think about... much of anything. Now that she's unable to cry anymore, all she feels is numbness. Not only in her heart, but in her body as well. It's the strangest thing, to feel nothing where not hours ago there was pain, trepidation, fear, rage, and sensation. It's as if she isn't pressed into Wolfe now, his scent barely registering in her blocked nose and body not registering his heat, his solidness against her.
It takes her wants from her, too.
"Stay." It's all she can think of as fingers that barely work grip at his shirt and swollen red eyes find fresh tears. It should hurt, but it doesn't. It makes her wonder something else.
Slowly, she tilts her head to look up at him, then finds his lips with hers. It's... not what it should be, and the idea of pain is there, but it doesn't register in her body or mind the way it should. Is this it? Is this all there is left to her now? She exhales a breath, her chest tightening as she kisses him again.
"Be with me." She shouldn't, and he shouldn't either, but she needs something, and the only one person she trusts to give it to her now is right in front of her. She just needs something until it all comes back. Until she can feel again. Until this all makes sense again. Until she can find herself again.
