She thinks carefully before speaking again. "I know what she's going through right now, but I can't possibly relate. My world is still there, somewhere, unreachable but alive. Verity... she has the opposite problem. Her world is there, alive, thriving, but soon... soon it won't be. I can't even begin to fathom that."
