Upon reaching her inbox, there's a long pause. And then, when the caller might think this is some prank or the inbox is improperly set up, a soft voice speaks:]

"Leave your message. We'll speak later."

I certainly can. Honey cakes with almonds or pecans if he's a preference? Maybe some figs or fig jam, if that appeals.

Dreams, you can make honey cakes? It's been months since we've seen anything like that. Pecans would be best, I think.

What supplies do you need for them? I can collect them and bring them to you at Marzipan Terrace. Take Little Thunder out for a bit while you work. [And then relentlessly ask him questions, of course.]

Oh no, you wouldn't. The most involved cooking I can manage is making tea. Everything else is best left to others.

I would gladly keep you company while you work, though. Choose a time and day and I'll arrive with pecans in hand - and anything else you or Little Thunder might want after your unexpected absence for the better part of a week.

[Amelia? Spoil her brats? Of course she will.]

What day is his birth specifically? Could make it up to three days in advance to keep it freshest.
