[Duplicity] IC Inbox

[Amelia's device is ready for messages. Send away as you will.
Upon reaching her inbox, there's a long pause. And then, when the caller might think this is some prank or the inbox is improperly set up, a soft voice speaks:]
"Leave your message. We'll speak later."

[It was flirtatious, thank you very much.]

That's a mighty ask to collect on. If one is in need of such attention - sexual, I would assume - it seems a desperate plea to ask after via message rather than a call.
[This next part will not come off as teasing as she'd like, and she knows it. No reason not to say it anyway when they're far apart in understanding.]
Or is this your usual with the intended recipient of your message? They would enjoy hearing this from you, yes?

We don't always communicate this way, but it's not so uncommon.
The intended recipient is a very close friend.
[He's not insulted by the question, but it doesn't come off as teasing, no.]

Might I suggest a direct missive while the network is playing tricks on everyone? A handwritten note can be a very evocative thing to receive when a message such as this is included.

The possibilities are nigh endless.

Best of luck getting your intended's attention.
